THE NSW RESERVE COMPONENT WANTS YOU!
Teammates - NSW needs your help. The NSW Reserve Component has been tasked with providing increased support to our active duty Teammates. Former active duty SEAL and SWCC operators are being asked to strongly consider affiliation with the NSW Reserve Component. NSW Reservists live in all 50 states - and many of them are serving today, both the in the U.S. as well as overseas. They are an integral part of the NSW Total Force and are making significant contributions to our country and the NSW community.
UDT / SEAL Association Members can help in any of three ways:
1. Join Now: Call LT Pat Berry at 619-200-4474 to begin the affiliation process.
2. Refer a Teammate: Communicate this opportunity to the Teammates that you are in contact with.
3. Spread the Word: Communicate across NSW related organizations that you are connected to.
In addition to serving your Country and the NSW community - there are significant additional benefits including:

RECRUITING:
To all UDT SEAL Association and NSW Foundation Members, Retired, Former, and, Active SEALs or SWCCs
- The US Navy Recruiting Command’s NSW/NSO Program Manager’s Officer wants to partner with our “Legacy” SEAL and SWCC community across the U.S. The best way to do this is to provide you with our NSW/NSO Mentor and Coordinator contact list. Please contact us below to receive the list of personnel that are assigned as the “subject matter experts” for NSW/NSO programs to their Recruiting Districts.
- Navy Recruiting Command and Naval Special Warfare Command have developed an NSW/NSO Mentorship program across the United States to ensure that the physical fitness standards of its elite programs are maintained (tested while in Delayed Entry Program (DEP)), and to increase the understanding of the NSW/NSO mission.
- The Mentors (all former SEAL, SWCC, EOD, or Divers) and Coordinators (nearly half are Active Duty SEAL, SWCC, EOD, or Divers) provide accurate information, awareness, and are responsible for the Physical Screening Test (PST) administered to each Applicant/DEPper in the NSW/NSO programs.
- Your understanding of what the Mentors and Coordinators do to support NSW/NSO recruiting can assist in the recruiting mission. You may have general or specific questions concerning one of the NSW/NSO programs for a family member, co-worker, neighbor, etc… Please feel free to contact a Mentor or Coordinator nearest you to answer your questions you may have, or to pass on a referral point of contact.
- Your interaction with our NSW/NSO Mentors or Coordinators can make a huge difference in communicating these ELITE NSW/NSO programs to young men who have the abilities to serve in them. Navy Recruiting and the NSW/NSO Program Manager’s office are appreciative to you all in anticipation of your interaction with our Mentors and Coordinators.
