Please review the eligibility requirements for the Navy SEAL Foundation scholarships and the UDT-SEAL Association scholarships on the below link and complete your application today. Completed applications must be postmarked by March 2, 2012. Good Luck!

To be eligible for a Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) Scholarship you must be a DEVGRU spouse or a dependent child of a former or present SEAL, SWCC, or Military Direct Support personnel who is assigned or has been assigned to DEVGRU. Personnel cannot receive both a DEVGRU Scholarship and a Navy SEAL Foundation or UDT-SEAL Association Scholarship. If you are not selected for a DEVGRU Scholarship you are eligible to compete for and must submit a separate application for a Navy SEAL Foundation or UDT- SEAL Association Scholarship within the appropriate program eligibility guidelines.

DEVGRU Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and academic potential.  Additionally, scholarships will be awarded solely for post-secondary education or training (e.g., trade, technical, vocational, and undergraduate college for dependent children and spouses. Spouses are also eligible to apply for scholarships for postgraduate education). Again, the DEVGRU Scholarship Fund shall award scholarship grants based on merit and academic potential.  Merit shall be based on grade point average, SAT scores, class ranking, extracurricular activities, volunteer community involvement, leadership positions held, military service record, and after school employment as appropriate.  The DEVGRU Scholarship Fund shall award scholarship grants without regard to race, color, sex, religion, or national origin.

To be considered for the DEVGRU scholarship, the application must be completed with an attached photo and essay, all signature blocks signed and dated, and postmarked by February 1, 2012.  Your official transcript must also be post marked by February 1st, 2012. Application and Transcript must be mailed to the Navy SEAL Foundation, Attn DEVGRU Scholarship Committee, 1619 D Street, Bldg 5326, Virginia Beach, VA 23459.
